RE: 2021 Covid-19 Vaccine & PTO Policy
Some of our employees providing direct patient care have received the Covid-19 vaccine and hopefully soon the vaccine will be available for everyone.
If you have not had the opportunity to get the vaccine through the hospital and you are providing direct patient care, you can get the vaccine through ADH approved pharmacies. If you are not providing direct patient care to patients, ADH is asking you to wait until February 1, 2021 to get vaccinated.
The list of pharmacies can be accessed by pharmacy name, city or county. For convenience, here is the link to the listing of participating pharmacies:
I wanted to clarify our PTO policies regarding Covid-19. Each employee will receive a maximum of 80 hours of extra Covid-19 PTO (during 2021) for any situation where they are quarantined by the health department, Radiology Consultants or test positive for Covid-19.
The only exception will be for employees that have the availability of the vaccine, but decide for personal reasons not to get vaccinated. These employees will need to use their own PTO for any time they miss work.
